Privacy Policy

At WallStreetStackers (“the Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), we are dedicated to protecting your privacy and ensuring the security of your personal information. We recognize the importance of privacy in today’s digital world and are fully committed to handling your data with transparency, responsibility, and care. This Privacy Policy outlines how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you interact with our platform, including through our website, applications, and services. We adhere to all applicable data protection laws and regulations, ensuring that your information is safeguarded and used only for legitimate purposes.

We believe in clear and honest communication regarding your data, and we want you to feel confident in how we manage and secure your information. Whether you are tracking your precious metals portfolio, monitoring market trends, or utilizing any of our services, your privacy remains our top priority. By using our platform, you acknowledge and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you have any questions or concerns regarding our data practices or your personal information, we encourage you to contact us, and we will be happy to assist you.

Information We Collect

We collect information from you when you register on our site. It is recommended to use an email separate from your personal accounts and to create a pseudonymous username to maintain anonymity. You are encouraged not to use your real name, helping ensure that your data cannot be traced back to you personally.

You may also choose to encrypt your sensitive data using a personal encryption key (recommended), ensuring that only you can access your information—even our staff cannot decrypt it. Alternatively, you may opt to use our secure master key encryption system, which provides encryption for all of your sensitive information, but allows recovery in the event of forgotten keys. WallstreetStackers application CAN see the information stored when using the master key, however it is encrypted in the database at all times.

If and when you decide to stop using our services, you can export your data to Excel using the export function on your dashboard, then proceed to delete your account and all stored records.

How We Use Your Information

We may use the information we collect from you when you register in the following ways:

  • To personalize your experience and to allow us to deliver the type of content and product offerings in which you are most interested.
  • To improve our website in order to better serve you.
  • To allow us to better service you in responding to your customer service requests.
  • To administer a contest, promotion, survey or other site feature.

How We Protect Your Information

At WallStreetStackers, safeguarding your personal and financial data is our highest priority. We employ industry-leading security measures and encryption practices to ensure your information remains private, secure, and protected against unauthorized access.

End-to-end Data Encryption

All sensitive data—such as item details, cost, weights, and purchase information—is encrypted using field-level encryption. Users have the option to use a personal encryption key, ensuring that only they can decrypt their own data. This adds an unmatched layer of privacy and control. For users who prefer a simpler setup, we offer secure master key encryption, which still protects your data with strong cryptographic safeguards. In either case, encrypted fields are unreadable without the appropriate key.

Data Transmission Security

All data transmitted to and from our platform is secured using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) encryption. This ensures that your information is protected during transmission, preventing interception or unauthorized access.

Account Security & Authentication

To protect your account, we implement secure authentication mechanisms and recommend that users set strong, unique passwords. We also support two-factor authentication (2FA) for enhanced account protection. To maintain anonymity, avoid using personally identifiable usernames or email addresses.

Access Control and Monitoring

Access to encrypted data (in master-key mode) is restricted to authorized systems and personnel operating under strict policies. Personal-key encrypted data is completely inaccessible to us. Our infrastructure is continuously monitored for suspicious activity and regularly updated to mitigate security vulnerabilities.

Disclosure of Your Information

We do not sell, trade, or share your personally identifiable information with outside parties. All payment transactions are securely processed through Stripe, a trusted third-party payment processor compliant with PCI DSS standards. We do not store or access your payment details. All sensitive payment information is encrypted and handled exclusively by Stripe.

Third-Party Links

We may include or offer third-party products or services for convenience. We are not responsible for the privacy policies, content, or security practices of these external sites. If you choose to engage with third parties, we recommend reviewing their policies before sharing any data.

Changes to Our Privacy Policy

If we update our privacy practices or introduce new features (such as expanded encryption options), we will revise this Privacy Policy accordingly and notify users where applicable.
